As I Lay Dying are headed back to Russia in 2026. The metalcore outfit, fronted by the divisive Tim Lambesis, launched the band’s “Shadows Are Security” 20th anniversary European tour in Russia this fall. The prospect of Western artists touring that country remains largely frowned upon at the moment, given the tense relations between Russia and much of the western world in light of Russia’s 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing conflict there.
In a post shared this morning, December 09th, As I Lay Dying announced that after three successful shows in Russia this past October, they will return in 2026 for full leg of dates in Russia celebrating “Shadows Are Security“, including numerous arena shows. The band collectively stated:
“After 3 sold out shows, we have been invited back to Russia for an arena tour. See you all in March!
Thank you for so many great memories already and more to come”
