Refused will be livestreaming their approaching farewell show across the internet. The highly influential post-hardcore band are set to wind down this second chapter of their career with a hometown show in Umeå, Sweden on December 21st.
The group first revealed their plans to hang it up once again back in September of 2024. Having since embarked on a global farewell tour, they’re finishing up some touring down under before heading back home to put an endcap on their career.
A trio of shows at Vaven in Umeå will see the band out, with the final stop set to be streamed via watch.officialrefused.com. Tickets for that stream are available now at the aforementioned link, with North American fans able to catch the set at 09:00am PST / 12:00pm EST. Vocalist Dennis Lyxzén commented:
“This final year has been nothing short of amazing.
We’ve played some of the best shows of our entire lives.
But, as with anything, there are plenty of countries, cities, venues, and people that we didn’t have the time to get to.Here is your final chance for you all to get to us: The final show in Umeå will be live-streamed for the whole world to see, and we are inviting you to be a part of the festivities. Not only do you get to witness the FINAL Refused show ever, but you also get to see our friends in Abhinanda tear it up.
