Paradise Lost‘s “Serpent On The Cross” music video has received its online debut. Lars Kristoffer Hormander crafted the visuals that newly accompany the track. As for the song, it will be included on the British goth metal band’s seventeenth studio album “Ascension“, which they intend to release on September 18th through Nuclear Blast. Vocalist Nick Holmes offered the following explanation of this song’s lyrical content:
“The cross represents stability, prosperity, hope and happiness. The serpent represents trepidation, anguish and overbearing sadness, lurking in the shadows ready to take everything away.”
