40 Below Summer have announced the expansion of their lineup, confirming the addition of their new bassist, Robi Kirsic of DizneyFist fame. Furthermore, the nü-metal band have announced an October 11th show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ. That special live event will serve as the release for the band’s first new album in roughly a decade as well as a 25th anniversary show.
Two sets will be played that night, including one set by the band’s current incarnation, and another featuring their original lineup. Speaking on their plans and these latest developments on social media today, July 09th, the band stated:
“Finally able to announce. To all the long time 40 below summer friends, fans, followers and supporters. Saturday October 11th at Starland Ballroom it is the 40 below summer 25th anniversary/album release show. We will be performing two sets. One with the current line up of Max, Joey, Anthony, Robi and David. And a second set with the Original line up of Max, Joey, Jordan, Hector and Carlos to commemorate 25 years as band. Special guests will include for the 1st time at Starland.

“Two more things. We would also like to announce our new member. Robi Kirsic!!! @robi_timeline will be our new bassist. He is someone we have known for a very long time and has always been a close friend of the band past and present. Hes a great bass player and even more important a great human being.
