Knosis Fire Guitarist Daiki Koide In The Wake Of Allegations Of Inappropriate Conduct With An Underage Fan

Guitarist Daiki Koide has also found himself removed from Knosis in the wake of being accused of conducting inappropriate conversations online with an underage fan. Last week saw Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke publicly condemn Koide and his other band Crossfaith, after Radke was alerted to what he claimed was an inappropriate conversation conducted by Koide with a 14-year-old fan.

Radke said he quietly removed Crossfaith from their European shows with Falling In Reverse as a result and first privately shared his concerns with other members of Crossfaith. However, the band failed to act on the allegation in a manner which Radke felt suitable, leading Radke to also share his concerns with various festivals Crossfaith was booked at. Radke then went on to to publicly call out Koide, Crossfaith and a European metal festival that kept Crossfaith on the bill.

The fallout was fairly immediate, with Crossfaith themselves soon canceling their European tour around a day later. Yesterday, June 28th, Crossfaith announced they had terminated Koide‘s position, issuing the following statement:

“To our fans and everyone following the recent events,
In light of the current situation and the speculation circulating online,
we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remaining four shows of our European tour.

June 26th – Vainstream Festival Opening Night 2025
June 27th on 2025
June 28th – Resurrection Fest EG 2025
June 29th – Evil Live

This is not a decision we take lightly, but one we feel is necessary to avoid any unexpected incidents and to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved — our fans, our crew, and the festival organizers.

We understand the disappointment this may cause, and we deeply apologize to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us. Thank you your continued support and understanding during this time.

As for the future of Crossfaith, we are currently in discussions internally.
This is a serious matter that requires careful thought,
and we want to make sure any decisions are made with the utmost responsibility and clarity.
We will share an official update as soon as we are ready.

We appreciate your patience, support,
and understanding as we navigate this complex and emotional moment.

Yesterday also found Knosis relieved of his services, with the Japanese metalcore band issuing the below statement:

“To our fans,
Daiki will no longer perform as a guitarist of Knosis.”

Koide does not appear to have publicly responded to the allegations, with his Instagram profile currently having disappeared.
