Gold-certified alternative rock outfit Queens Of The Stone Age released their ‘Alive In The Catacombs‘ concert film last week and will follow suit this week with the release of the audio version of it. That stripped-down set was filmed in the Catacombs of Paris in Paris, France last summer with director Thomas Rames.
According to vocalist/guitarist Josh Homme, that performance was the realization of an idea he had been pursuing for 18 years, with the band ultimately being the first to perform live in the ossuary. The audio version of the unique performance will be arriving this Friday, June 13th (vinyl on August 22nd) with pre-orders available now via queensofthestoneage.lnk.to/aitcalbum.
