Multi-platinum Canadian nü-metal/alternative rock band Finger Eleven‘s first new album in a decade has been completed. This seventh studio outing has been titled “Last Night On Earth” and is expected out before the year’s end through Better Noise Music.
Guitarist James Black recently revealed the news to 105.7 The Point, stating:
“Our new record is done. We don’t have a release date yet, but it’s done. Last year we put a song out with [Better Noise Music] that was sort of a test balloon, let’s say. But the record’s done now, and we’re just working on getting the promo ready and everything else.
We thought last year we’d put ‘Adrenaline‘ out and a couple months later we’d be done with the record. And it took us a whole other year to finish it. But that wasn’t ’cause we were trying to perfect it. It’s just trying to make every second of it have a buzz to it. And it’s good. I feel really good about it.”
When asked when fans can expect to hear it, he replied:
“I don’t know. The release date’s not locked in yet, but I’m hoping before the end of the year. I mean, it’s done. It’s called ‘Last Night On Earth‘.”
