Bright As Blasphemy” has been selected as the title to Chevelle‘s tenth studio album, which the group will be issuing on August 15th. After a decades-long stint on Epic Records, the multi-platinum alternative metal band have found a new label home with Alchemy Recordings. That label venture was co-founded by concert promoter Danny Wimmer and Dino Paredes, with the likes of Staind, Mudvayne, Serj Tankian, Puscifer and more among the roster.

Breaking from tradition, vocalist/guitarist Pete Loeffler took on producing this effort, making it the band’s first full-length release without an outside producer at the helm. Speaking on the title of the record, the band collectively offered, “Human existence encompasses both inherent challenges and potential. It’s up to you how to pass the time. Enjoy.”

Arriving in tandem with the album reveal is the below debut of its second single, “Jim Jones (Cowards, Pt. 2)“. As you’ve likely already guessed, it serves as the follow-up to the previously released “Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1)“. Briefly summing up this sonic sequel, the group shared, “History teaches us the longest rabbit hole has no end.”
