Shane Hawkins, the 17-year-old son of late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, will once again be joining up with his father’s band Chevy Metal on stage this summer. Shane will be sitting behind the kit with the aforementioned rock covers band for a newly run that will take place in July and August. Tickets for that trek can be found below, with pre-sales to launch this Wednesday, May 21st.

Word of this tour follows increasing speculation that Shane will also be assuming another of his father’s past gigs as the newest member of Foo Fighters. Rumors of his addition to that group have been picking up steam since Josh Freese was fired from the role last week.
