Thrash metal titans Metallica have no shortage of tracks to choose from when it comes to previewing their upcoming newly remastered deluxe release of their divisive 5x platinum “Load“. Sporting a stylistic shift into hard rock and alternative territory, “Load” divided fans of the group. That controversy was further compounded by Metallica undertaking a drastic overhaul in their imagery as well on that album cycle, cutting their hair short and wearing makeup.
The premium format of this new set celebrating that album boasts a total of 301 recordings, 245 of which are previously unreleased. 233 of those songs are slated to arrive on streaming when the set arrives on June 13th. While the remastered versions of “Hero Of The Day” and “Until It Sleeps” have already made their way out, the band have most recently begun to share some of the included bonus offerings.
