Ghost are set to perform a tribute to hard rock legends Queen at this year’s Polar Music Prize awards ceremony. That Swedish international award will awarded to Queen at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm, Sweden on May 27th. Spicing things up a bit, the multi-platinum occult rockers will be joined by Opeth guitarist Fredrik Åkesson during their time onstage.
Adam Lambert, who himself has served as a vocalist for the band for over a decade, will also be performing at the event, along with others. Other honorees at this year’s awards ceremony include Herbie Hancock and Barbara Hannigan. The ceremony is scheduled to be broadcast live on May 27th via TV4.
