Cave In/Mutoid Man, etc. vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky‘s expansive deep dive into acoustic covers of hardcore, post-hardcore and metalcore songs has newly served up his below take on AVAIL‘s “Beliefs Pile“. Brodsky had the following to say about his rendition of this 1994 cut:
“‘Beliefs Pile‘ by Avail. First saw them right after “4AM Friday” came out. It was probably the most scrappy-looking, foul-smelling crowd I’d ever mixed with at show, but what truly struck me was the reckless joy of smiling faces everywhere you looked.”
