In a new interview with 96.7 KCAL-FM, Cold frontman Scooter Ward confirmed that he has already begun writing new material for the gold-certified alternative metal band’s seventh album. However, that follow-up to 2019’s “The Things We Can’t Stop” isn’t expected out until 2026.
When asked by host Radioactive MikeZ in the below chat if fans could expect new material next year, Ward replied, “Yes, a hundred percent. I’m writing right now, so I’m gonna say by next summer there will be a Cold album out.”
The band’s immediate plans include the below run of dates that jointly celebrate 25 years of “13 Ways To Bleed On Stage” and 20 years of “A Different Kind Of Pain“, with September Mourning and University Drive opening.
