Cold Announce A Pair Of Lineup Changes

Gold-certified alternative metal outfit Cold have announced some recent lineup changes. In a post shared this morning, September 24th, the group spelled out that recent illness has seen their drummer Tony Kruszka sidelined, with El Drumwrench having been recruited in his place for immediate touring.

Cold also announced that their guitarist/vocalist since 2023, Ed Cuozzo, has exited the band to devote his focus to his other outfit, University Drive. Dave Pike, who has served as Cold‘s guitar tech, will be filling in on that role for the immediate future.

Cold‘s statement reads:

“Hey Cold Army
Couple of important updates
Truly sorry for addressing this late with you all

I had a major move after last tour while also setting up things for our first time back in UK and it was a bit overwhelming, and unfortunately took every bit of my free time

I wanted to give both these men my due respect and this is honestly my first real day off to have some time to address this correctly with you all

Firstly, our drummer Tony Kruszka was hospitalized recently from a stomach condition and is currently undergoing a series of test to find out what is causing the issues.
He was not able to make our tour in the UK and is of course disappointed that he couldn’t come with us.
Please send all your love to him in hopes he gets everything under control . Love you Tones!

It’s also Tony’s bday today so send him love on that as well!

Covering Tony is the incredible El Drumwrench who we are blessed to have out with on this uk run.
It’s been an absolute pleasure having him with us

Next is that our brother Ed Cuozzo is stepping away from Cold to solely focus on University Drive

The momentum UD has gained over the past few years has been an amazing thing to witness
The time is now for the band to go all in and make the best effort forward to getting UD where it needs to be.

His contributions, dedication and the heart that he put in to playing the songs you all love, while being a gentleman to everyone who crossed paths with him is something we will forever hold dearly

Cold and UD will continue to have amazing tours together in the future.
We Couldn’t have dreamed a better band mate, brother, and just true friend to be with us these past few years.
