Maynard James Keenan, most famously known for his work as the vocalist for Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, as well as his various entrepreneurial pursuits, has newly launched an official website dedicated to his various happenings at maynardjameskeenan.com.
The site not only exists as a hub for his various happenings, but also provides direct insight on his life and times, rare personal photos, and more. There’s even brief details on his numerous musical outlets over the years, including his pre-fame bands.
If you dig a little deeper, you’ll even find some info on some upcoming happenings, including talk of an upcoming series of Puscifer graphic novel series, ‘Tales From The Pusciverse‘, which is being developed with Marlin Shoop and Andy Belanger.
There’s also a mention of an apparently unannounced collaboration with Primus by the name of “Little Lord Fentanyl“. This may add some insight as to why Keenan was present during Primus‘ drummer hunt earlier this year, outside of Primus being booked at this part March’s first-ever ‘Tool Live In The Sand‘ festival.
With the second leg of the ‘Sessanta‘ tour now underway, some have speculated that track may be a new collaboration between Keenan and Primus attached to this new leg of the tour. Last year’s ‘Sessanta‘ run, which united A Perfect Circle, Primus and Puscifer onstage nightly in celebration of Keenan turning 60 last year, resulted in a three-way split between that trio of bands.
Announcing the site on social media earlier today, April 24th, the ever-enigmatic Keenan commented:
“Some people had a few questions. So we built a website with some vague answers. Like a late 2000’s blog but way cooler. Enjoy.”
