“Badlands” is the third single to meet a release from Black Map‘s new album “Hex“. The alternative rock trio, whose roster features members of dredg, The Trophy Fire, ex-Far, etc., saw fit to launch the below music video directed by Carlos Almanza for the above mentioned song today. “Hex” will be out on May 09th via Spinefarm.
Vocalist/bassist Ben Flanagan said of this song:
“‘Badlands; is a song about ultimately exploring new heights. Moving forward and up. It’s immediate and direct. The spirit of the song reminds me of the music I was listening to when I first picked up a guitar. For me, there is something super cathartic about playing it.”
