Foo Fighters, etc. vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl has joined up with actor/musician Jack Black of Tenacious D, etc. fame on a new track titled “I Feel Alive“. That song was penned for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the hit video game series ‘Minecraft‘, ‘A Minecraft Movie‘, which will open in theaters on April 04th. Black also stars in that film.
This latest pairing between the two icons finds Grohl behind the drum kit, while Black takes on lead vocals. Mega producers Mark Ronson (Queens Of The Stone Age, Amy Winehouse) and Andrew Watt (Ozzy Osbourne, Post Malone) co-wrote and c0-produced the song alongside Black. Filling out the roster is Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, while the film’s Danielle Brooks assists on vocals.
