Superheaven have announced the details for their first new album in a decade. That self-titled opus will be arriving on April 18th through Blue Grape Music and is newly being preceded by a video for the track “Cruel Times“, which was directed by Britain Weyant.
The band’s own Jake Clarke and Zack Robbins oversaw the recording and engineering duties, with Will Yip (Turnstile, Code Orange) co-producing. The grungegaze band’s return to active duty follows a surge of interest in over the past year or two that was propelled by viral TikTok success.
The group’s 2013 song “Youngest Daughter” benefitted the most from that thus far, having been certified gold earlier this month.
