Nashville, TN-based nü-metal/alternative rock band Shun have just shared their first new material in 20 years. That song is titled “Earth (Intro)” and has roots that date back decades as well, as the group’s vocalist Billy White stated earlier this week:
“For those who saw us live back in the day, this song might feel familiar. It was always the opening for our set at every show, setting the tone for what was to come. We felt it was only right to begin this new chapter the same way. We hope “Earth” not only brings back some of those memories but also sets the stage for what’s coming next on the album.
“Earth” is about reconciliation and the constant struggle to balance the positive and negative thoughts we all face—whether it’s despair, hopelessness, or uncertainty about how to move forward. It’s about finding a way to hold on to hope and push through when life feels overwhelming.”
