There will be a little bit of life after death for Ithaca. The UK alternative metal performed what was billed as their final show last weekend at the O2 Academy Islington in London, UK. Dubbed ‘The Cremation Party’, that farewell headlining set was originally meant to serve as the end of the band, as they communicated last October.
However, as announced this morning (February 13th,) the group will now be appearing at this year’s ‘ArcTanGent‘ festival, which will run from August 13-16th in Bristol, UK. Speaking of the surprise continuation of their barely ended career, the group stated:
“SURPRISE.
Our last ever performance will take place at our spiritual home @arctangentfestival. This will be a completely different show to The Cremation Party with a different setlist and very special guests. We cannot wait to send this band off with some of the most dedicated music fans in the world.”
