Oakland, CA-based thrash metal/groove metal outfit Machine Head are nearly done working on their eleventh studio album. A post shared this week on the band’s social media stated that the band’s vocalist/guitarist Robb Flynn was “putting the finishing touches on the new album.” By the looks of the picture in that post, Flynn was knocking out some vocal tracks for the record, which is expected out in 2025.
Some new material from Machine Head did just recently make its way out into the world, in the form of “These Scars Won’t Define Us“. That song is a collaboration with the vocalists of Machine Head‘s upcoming tourmates in In Flames, Lacuna Coil and Unearth. That trek will launch this coming April. In light of the recent cancelation of the 2025 ‘Sick New World‘ festival, that package has newly added a Las Vegas show at the House Of Blues on April 12th. See below for the updated itinerary:
