Ghost have announced a December 06th home release for their feature-length film debut, ‘Rite Here Rite Now‘. That film premiered in theaters this past June and weaves together footage from a pair of live shows the band played at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA in September of 2023 with a story that further fleshes out the lore the band have built up for themselves through their sporadic ‘Chapters’ series of releases.
Alex Ross Perry co-directed alongside the platinum-certified Swedish metal band’s mastermind Tobias Forge, with the film grossing over $5 million amid its initial four-day run in theaters. It was made available digitally in July, with an official soundtrack accompanying it. Now the film will receive its physical home release on Blu-ray, DVD and VHS formats.
Select editions of this home release will feature a Q&A with Forge, Perry and Jim Parsons, who served as the director for the live concert portion of the shoot. The previously released video for “The Future Is A Foreign Land“, and 28 chapters of the band’s webisode series will also be included, along with digital access to the film.
