Heavy metal legend King Diamond‘s North American tour kicked off yesterday night, October 15th, at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, TX. That conceptually-themed tour finds the Mercyful Fate frontman joined by Myrkur on guest vocals and organ, with Overkill and Night Demon taking on the opening duties.
Diamond gave a live debut to two new songs during last night’s set. Those tracks were “Spider Lilly” and “Electro Therapy“. Fan-filmed footage has since arrived online below. Presumably these songs are taken from Diamond‘s upcoming pair of conceptually linked albums, the first carrying the title of “The Institute“.
Last night’s setlist:
“Arrival”
“A Mansion In Darkness”
“Halloween”
“Voodoo”
“Spider Lilly”
“Sleepless Nights”
“Welcome Home”
“The Invisible Guests”
