A fall release seems likely for 40 Below Summer‘s first new album since 2015’s “Transmission Infrared“. The New Jersey-based nü-metal outfit wrapped up the primary sessions for that outing last month and expect to commence mixing it next week. An update shared through the band’s social media today, July 11th, reads:
“Re-patching and getting set up to start mixing. Synths and sound effects are done. Vocal comping is almost done, we should begin mixing sometime next week.
We will be setting up video shoots for the singles for the end of July/early August and we’ve been in contact with Starland Ballroom about an album release/25th anniversary show. Looking good for late fall. It’s happening. Get ready for a wild ride!!
Follow the sun.”
