Fresh off of grossing over $5 million across it’s four-day limited theatrical screening last month, Ghost‘s feature film debut ‘Rite Here Rite Now‘ will soon be available to view at home. That endeavor will initially be streaming exclusively through Veeps.
It was co-directed by Alex Ross Perry and the platinum-certified Swedish metal band’s own mastermind Tobias Forge. That flick consists of a menagerie of live footage captured during the group’s pair of September 2023 live shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA, along with an expansion of the outfit’s ever-evolving narrative of their clergy and kooky happenings.
This livestreamed premiere of the film will take place next Saturday, July 20th. As a bonus, it will also feature a conversation with Forge, Perry, and the film’s live director Jim Parsons. That chat took place amid the film’s London, England premiere last month. Those who partake in the stream will also receive access to exclusive Ghost merch.
An official motion picture soundtrack for the film is set to follow on July 26th. The majority of it consists of live performances captured during the band’s aforementioned live shows — sans the recently released ‘1969-era’ track “The Future Is A Foreign Land“.
