Nü-metal favorites Limp Bizkit welcomed none other than soft rock megastar Ed Sheeran onstage with them during their set yesterday, June 23rd, at the annual ‘Pinkpop‘ festival in Landgraaf, NET. Sheeran sat in during the band’s cover of The Who‘s 1971 track “Behind Blue Eyes“.
With three diamond-certified singles and countless multi-platinum certifications to his credit, Sheeran was serving as the headliner for the yesterday’s closing date of the aforementioned fest. There’s also a bit of likely intended irony to be found in the song choice, as Sheeran himself in fact has blue eyes.
