Mayhem Fest 2024

Bad Omens, Parkway Drive, Architects, Etc. Announced For 2024 ‘Mayhem Fest’

The details are in for the first ‘Mayhem Fest‘ to be staged since 2015. In its prior incarnation, the then annual traveling festival served as direct competition to the ‘Ozzfest‘, bringing leading artists from the heavy metal and hardcore, etc. scenes out across North America in the form of an all-day traveling festival.

Unfortunately, the original run of the ‘Mayhem Festival came to an end amid low attendance, band turmoil, and more behind the scenes issues.

In 2020, Ash Avildsen (Sumerian Records/’The Summer Slaughter Tour‘, etc.) and co. announced their intentions to resurrect the tour, with that return now set for October 12th at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA. In addition to a headlining set from alternative metal breakout act Bad Omens, this year’s event will also feature Parkway Drive and Architects topping the bill.

Seven Hours After Violet, the new project featuring members of System Of A Down, Left to Suffer, Winds Of Plague and more will also be making their live debut at the event.

This year’s event will feature the following roster:

Bad Omens
Parkway Drive
August Burns Red
(playing “Constellations“)
Seven Hours After Violet (live debut)
We Came As Romans
Suicide Silence
After The Burial
Born Of Osiris
Peyton Parrish
Darkest Hour
It Dies Today
Escuela Grind
Holy Wars
Roman Candle

While this year’s return is limited to a one-off destination festival, next year’s edition is expected to unfold as a traveling festival akin to the event’s original run.
