Rotting Christ‘s track “The Apostate” has surfaced online, along with a lyric video for it. The Greek melodic black metal band’s fourteenth studio album “Pro Xristou” is roughly a month out with a May 24th release on Season Of Mist slated.
Per an official press release:
”The Apostate‘ tells the story of resistance. It is a tribute to those who stood unbowed, like Flavius Claudius Julianus, who guarded ancient knowledge against a rising tide of religious conversion. The song is a tapestry woven with mesmerizing choirs, neo-classical arrangements, and Rotting Christ‘s signature blackened atmosphere.’
