Slipknot Announce Mexican Dates For Their 25th Anniversary Touring

Mexican fans will be getting a chance to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Slipknot‘s 2x multi-platinum self-titled 1999 album this November. The masked metal band have announced a pair of shows on that run, including their first-ever headlining date in Mexico City. Here’s what’s been booked:

11/08 Guadalajara, MEX – Calle2
11/09 Mexico City, MEX – Parque Bicentenario

The group are also set to return to the stage later this week as part of this year’s ‘Sick New World‘ festival in Las Vegas, NV. That event will be held this Saturday, April 27th at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. It will mark the band’s first performance since firing their drummer Jay Weinberg last November. While the band themselves remain tight-lipped, Eloy Casagrande (ex-Sepultura) is widely rumored to have been taken into the fold as his replacement.
