It would seem that Slipknot‘s drummer role is no longer vacant. With credible rumors have been running rampant, ex-Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande is widely expected to be the latest member of the nine. Slipknot fired Jay Weinberg last fall and thus far have yet to officially reveal his replacement.
However, a post shared by the band yesterday, March 09th, revealed that rehearsals have begun for their return for the road and would seem the drummer position is full, given the below picture of a broken drum stick.

Notably, said stick is a pro-mark, the same Casagrande uses. The latter musician abruptly exited Sepultura last month, leaving the band to scramble for a replacement for their now ongoing farewell world tour.
Much of Slipknot‘s touring this year will be held in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their 2x multi-platinum self-titled debut album.
