Pearl Jam vocalist/guitarist Eddie Vedder and rap star/actor, etc. Post Malone recently joined up for a cover of the aforementioned grunge band’s 1994 track “Better Man” and Tom Petty‘s “I Won’t Back Down“. That pairing went down this past Saturday, February 17th at a benefit concert in Shelbyville, TN.
The show itself was raising funds for the EB Research Partnership. Between the show and accompanying auction, over $1 million was raised for the aforementioned organization, which was co-founded by Eddie and his wife Jill. It seeks to fund research and treatment for Epidermolysis Bullosa, a painful skin condition.
Pearl Jam have just shared official live footage of one of those tracks. If you missed it, Malone previously covered “Better Man“ on ‘The Howard Stern Show‘ back in 2022. Pearl Jam‘s twelfth studio album “Dark Matter” will be available on April 19th.
