Carrion Vael‘s next studio album “Cannibals Anonymous” has been set for a March 29th release on Unique Leader Records. The melodic death metal band have unveiled the track “Discount Meats” as the first single from it.
Speaking of the record itself, they offered:
“With Cannibals Anonymous, we drew inspiration from the minds of famous Cannibals throughout history. From full on people eaters like Jeffrey Dahmer, Albert Fish, and Joachim Kroll, to more exploratory appetites, skull lovers, and doo doo fanatics like Edmund Kemper and Roch Theriault. We learned a lot about them in this process!
From their narcissistic needs for acceptance and never compromising companionship, to their astronomical mommy issues and perverse and violent sexual obsessions. We explored these unnatural minds, trying to write from their perspective, learning about what in their past may have caused such extreme eating habits. What we found; they’re pretty fucked. You put that over some sick ass riffs and blast beats, and you got yourself a stew goin’!”
