Infectious Grooves Announce Californian Show With Ex-Slipknot Drummer Jay Weinberg & More

Infectious Grooves, the long-running funk metal side project of crossover legends Suicidal Tendencies, have announced a March 23rd show at the Garden Grove Amphitheater in Garden Grove, CA. Pre-sales for that event will launch tomorrow, Thursday, February 01st at 09:00am PDT.

The collective will be playing that date with the same lineup as their upcoming Australian tour. That roster finds bassist Robert Trujillo (Metallica) taking on his usual role, along with guitarist Dave Kushner (ex-Velvet Revolver, etc.) returning. Ex-Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg will be behind the kit for that show and the upcoming Australian trek in light of Brooks Wackerman being busy with Avenged Sevenfold. Vocalist Mike Muir and guitarist Dean Pleasants will also be involved.

As it stands, this newly announced date looks set to be Weinberg‘s first full-fledged show back since being let go from Slipknot and later undergoing hip and leg surgery.
