While you might have expected a surviving nü-metal band of old to receive an apparent sponsorship (or at least care package) from clothing maker JNCO, it’s Nashville, TN metalcore band Orthodox who are out there repping the brand.
The group shared several photos online today (January 10th) from a shoot today of themselves adorned in attire from the aforementioned clothing company. JNCO rose to fame in the 90s for making oversized wide-leg jeans a fashion trend. That gallery of shots can be seen below.
While a staple amid the the original rise of nü-metal, the JNCO jeans ultimately fell victim to their arch nemesis in skinny jeans for much of the aughts. This isn’t the first time JNCO products have made a return in the heavier music scene, as Falling In Reverse somewhat ironically wore some of the company’s jeans onstage last year.
