Rob Bogacki & Matt Baumbach

Ex-Vision Of Disorder Guitarist Matt Baumbach & Producer Machine To Release Long-Shelved Studio Project

Former Vision Of Disorder guitarist Matt Baumbach has begun revealing a joint project he conceived and recorded amid the aforementioned Long Island, NY metalcore band’s initial breakup back in 2002.

While some of his bandmates went on to form bloodsimple., Baumbach himself instead headed into the studio with producer Machine (Lamb Of God, Clutch), having struck up a friendship together after working on Vision Of Disorder‘s 2001 release, “From Bliss To Devastation“.

A vocalist named Rob Bogacki was recruited to sing on the resulting record, which all these years later, will finally see the light of day in early 2024. Machine has since gone back and remastered the effort for it’s upcoming release, which is scheduled for January 05th. “The Counting Song” is the first track to make its way out from the project, and is presently available to stream below. It will make its way to other digital service providers on January 01st.

Speaking of returning to this project now, Machine commented, “I’m so proud of what we all did with this record, It was so inspirational to re-master all of this. We killed this.”

Baumbach added:

“I was lucky enough to have Tim Williams in my life but to follow with Rob Bogacki became my favorite part of my entire career along with the recent solo M@ stuff I have been doing which just surpassed 1.5 million plays on SoundCloud in only four months. Crazy! I love free music, similar to demos back in the day I feel that music doesn’t have a value. It is only art.

I hope people can dig into this new record, we worked hard on it. Hits for Days is a bold statement. Every fucking song is a hit, fuck off. #free music.”
