Falling In Reverse’s Ronnie Radke: “The Dawn Of Individualism In Rock Is Back”

Ronnie Radke, the controversially outspoken vocalist of the platinum-certified alternative metal outfit Falling In Reverse, has been lamenting the state of rock and metal for some time.

However, while he misses the diversity of the late 90s and early 2000s, he newly communicated that he feels that the genre is finally starting to turn a corner. Late last month Radke stoked some conversation, publicly wondering where the sense of identity in heavier music has gone. He stated of that:

“Remember when linkin park, limp biskit, blink 182, Korn, deftones, Marilyn Manson, beck, cake, third eye blind, P.O.D rage against the machine and system of the down were all thriving and they all had their own identity and sound and fans were just happy to be in the moment? what happened to individualism? why does everything now seem so forced and disingenuous? why is everything regurgitated? why is it so cool to be safe and complacent?”

Roughly two weeks removed from that post, he has now since commented:

“The dawn of individualism in Rock is back
Jeris Johnson
Kim Dracula
bad omens
Sleep token

the ideals of music are separating and true individualism is on the horizon

Of course their will always be bands that just copy but that’s what they’ll be remembered for, I like where rock music is headed.”
