It looks as though we won’t have too much longer to wait until we hear new music from Keith Buckley. The acclaimed metalcore vocalist, known for his past work and cunning lyrics in Every Time I Die and The Damned Things, has had a new band in the works since at least last year.
While neither the roster of that outfit, let alone the band’s name, have yet to be disclosed, Buckley is set to film a music video next month. A casting call was recently put out for the Long Island, NY area shoot, which will take place on October 01st.
Speaking last December of the project, Buckley stated, “I’ve been recording songs with a new band since September and the new music has never been heavier.”
Every Time I Die hung up their over two decade career in early 2022. Several of his former bandmates in that outfit—including his brother Jordan—have since launched the band Better Lovers with ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato and Fit For An Autopsy, etc. guitarist Will Putney.
