Former Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley (also of The Damned Things, etc.) has been working on a new musical venture of his own in recent months. A post shared on social media earlier today (December 02nd) confirms that the ex-vocalist for the aforementioned Buffalo, NY metalcore faction has been recording new material since this past September with a new band.
His post reads as follows:
It’s heartbreaking not having TIDmas to look forward to, but looking beyond the Holidays I can promise you’ll see me again in 2023. I’ve been recording songs with a new band since September and the new music has never been heavier. See you in the pit.

In case you’re wondering, Keith has since confirmed that the band he’s referring to above is not The Damned Things. This past April it was revealed that Buckley has a new song in the works with Quicksand/ex-Deftones bassist Sergio Vega.
Following Every Time I Die‘s bitter split amid the opening month of this year, at least three of Buckley‘s former Every Time I Die bandmates, including his brother, guitarist Jordan Buckley, bassist Stephen Micciche and drummer Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, have been pursuing a new band together. That equally mysterious project have been in the studio this month.
