British heavy metal legends Judas Priest have been announced as the replacement for Ozzy Osbourne at this year’s first-ever ‘Power Trip‘ festival. While Osbourne had hoped to make his big return to the stage for a full set at the fest this fall, he revealed yesterday that he is currently still physically unable to endure the demands of a prolonged live performance.
Judas Priest will be joining the lineup on Saturday, October 07th, performing directly before headliners AC/DC. Judas Priest collectively commented on their addition:
“Power Trippers are you ready for some Judas Priest style heavy metal! We are excited and ready to raise double horns way up hight together. Keeping the metal faith at this bostin one of a kind Power Trip world event!”
The ‘Power Trip‘ festival will be held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA this October and run as follows.
