Gold-certified indie rocker Phobe Bridgers opened for pop megastar Taylor Swift yesterday, May 05th, at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN. In addition to displaying her name in a metal-styled font, she once again took to the stage to the sounds of Disturbed‘s platinum-certified new nü-metal hit single “Down With The Sickness“.
Bridgers has been using the song frequently as her entrance theme of sorts since last summer, but word of it appears to have recently made its way to Disturbed frontman David Draiman himself. Reacting on Twitter this weekend, Draiman offered:
@phoebe_bridgers this is absolutely amazing! ????????
Love it! You’re welcome to come see our show whenever you want!https://t.co/pO7RFNVFwZ@taylorswift13 #PhoebeBridgers #TaylorSwiftErasTour @Disturbed #DownWithTheSickness
