Godflesh Debut New Song “Nero”, Announce North American Headlining Tour

Pioneering industrial metal outfit Godflesh will embark on a North American headlining tour across two legs this summer and fall to promote their forthcoming new album “Purge“. The opening track off of that effort, “Nero“, has just gone up online and is streaming below.

Speaking of the previously teased track, the duo’s Justin K. Broadrick, offered:

“‘Nero‘, as a symbol and reminder of irresponsible self destruction as being practiced always, now and forever…. in classic Godflesh tradition, 3 self reinterpretations are presented, to display the many sides of the same coin…”

The three reinterpretations he speaks of above are part of a newly issued EP for the single, which features the studio version along with several remixes and alternate versions. “Purge” will follow on June 09th. Godflesh‘s headlining touring plans include the below dates.
