Vio-lence Performed With No Original Members Last Night, Footage Available

0

With Sean Killian falling ill, Bay Area thrash veterans Vio-lence were forced to take to the stage last night (March 11th) without any original members present. The group had Truth Corroded‘s Jason North fill-in on vocals for their set at Max Watt’s House Of Music in Melbourne, Australia. Last month saw the band’s guitarist Phil Demmel express his uncertainty about his future with the band, with Demmel having opted to sit out the band’s current Australian tour.

Demmel‘s statement came just after word that the band had parted ways with long-time drummer Perry Strickland. Joining North onstage for the performance last night were the band’s latest recruits, guitarist Ira Black and Miles Dimitri Baker, drummer Adrian Aguilar, as well as bassist Christian Olde Wolbers. While Baker and Aguilar signed up to tour with the band last month, Wolbers had the most tenure with the outfit for this latest performance, having joined the band back in 2020.
