Jane’s Addiction Announce Live Replacement For Dave Navarro At Upcoming Shows

90s multi-platinum alternative rock favorites Jane’s Addiction have announced that their guitarist Dave Navarro will once again be sitting out their immediate touring plans. Navarro has been sidelined from the band after developing long COVID symptoms after having first being infected in December of 2021. Symptoms and side effects from that illness have persisted since, with Navarro continuing to focus on his recovery.

As the group have done in the past, former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer has been recruited to perform in Navarro‘s place. A statement issued by Jane’s Addiction earlier today (January 27th) reads as follows:

“We’d like to address the questions surrounding Dave and the upcoming Jane‘s shows. As a band we are in a great place, writing new music, and the bond is tighter than ever. We all hope Dave can be out playing with us; when he feels heathy and ready.

For the near future, our brother Josh Klinghoffer will jump in for the upcoming shows on the West Coast, South America and some additional international shows to be announced soon. We want to thank you for being there with us over these thirty some odd years. You know we’re going to keep throwing down for you.
