Earlier this week, Halestorm vocalist/guitarist Lzzy Hale, her bandmate/significant other Joe Hottinger, and multi-platinum hard rocker Chris Daughtry, joined a grunge cover band dubbed Into The Flood onstage.
That all went down at The Basement East in Nashville, TN with the guests sitting in for a pair of Alice In Chains covers. That concert took place as part of the aforementioned venue’s ‘Grunge Night’ this past Tuesday, January 10th, and saw Hale and Daughtry sit in on a rendition of Alice In Chains‘s 3x multi-platinum 1990 single “Man In The Box“.
Hale and Hottinger also joined in for a cover of “Rain When I Die“, from the aforementioned grunge legends’ 5x multi-platinum 1992 sophomore album, “Dirt“. Fan-filmed footage of that has emerged online below. Both Hale and Daughtry recently teamed up for a cover of Journey‘s “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)“, which you can check out here.
