While he hasn’t specified where the material will end up, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland revealed yesterday, December 14th that he was holed up at Rancho de la Luna Studios in Joshua Tree, CA. While his Limp Bizkit bandmate Fred Durst replied directly to the below post with some encouraging emojis, there’s no immediate indication that these sessions are related to the nü-metal outfit.
That said, an interview conducted this past April did find Borland indicating that new Limp Bizkit could get underway late this year. Outside of his work with the latter group, Borland has spread his wings with various solo releases, his Big Dumb Face project and the seemingly defunct Black Light Burns.
