Glassjaw vocalist Daryl Palumbo will be resurrecting his alternative rock band Head Automatica in 2023. The group, who have been dormant since 2012, played what was until now their last show in August of that aforementioned year. Their current album is “Popaganda“, which came out all the way back in 2006.
A third album from the group, “Swan Damage“, was being lined up for a release but ultimately became a casualty of a fractured relationship with the band’s label at the time, Warner Bros. Records.
Now comes word that Head Automatica will be performing at the 2023 edition of the annual ‘Furnace Fest‘. Next year’s edition of that festival has been booked for September 23rd to 25th at the Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL.
Thus far the roster for that hardcore, emo, metalcore, etc.-oriented festival runs as follows:
