The Raven Age have newly signed a worldwide deal with Music For Nations/Sony for the upcoming release of their third studio album. Current plans have that effort arriving around the summer of 2023.
The group’s guitarist George Harris (son of Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris), commented:
“Spirits are high in The Raven Age camp right now. We’re absolutely ecstatic to be working with such an awesome team at Music For Nations and to get the ball rolling with the long-awaited new album campaign. It’s a serious achievement for us, I’m super proud of all the lads and everyone involved. Bring on next year, it’s going to be a cracker.”
Vocalist Matt James added:
“We feel extremely excited to be starting this new chapter with such a prestigious metal label. Our long-awaited new album finally has the platform it needs, and we can’t wait for 2023!!!”
Their new album will be their first since welcoming guitarist Tommy Gentry to the fold earlier this year. Recording sessions for the effort will take place under producer Matt Hyde (Slipknot, Trivium).
