Incubus Hoping To Release New Music In Early 2023

Multi-platinum alternative rockers Incubus are hoping to have some new music out in the not too distant future. Speaking recently with Spin, the band’s frontman Brandon Boyd revealed that the group had recently got together to hash out some new song ideas, adding that, “if all goes according to plan, there’ll be some new music coming from us before we hit the road again in January.”

Boyd in particular is ready to get back into a creative space with the group, offering:

“There’s no shortage of things to write about, so I’m kind of chomping at the bit, if I’m being honest. I’m almost at the point where I’m text begging, like, ‘Please! Meet me in the band room!'”

The touring in January referred to by Boyd above is the below mini-tour

01/31 Corpus Christi, TX – American Bank Center – Selena Auditorium
02/02 San Antonio, TX – Tech Port Center + Arena
02/03 Houston, TX – 713 Music Hall
02/04 New Orleans, LA – The Fillmore

Incubus will also be sharing the stage with their old friends in System Of A Down, Korn, Deftones and more at the fledgling nü-metal festival, ‘Sick New World‘, which has been booked for May 13th in Las Vegas, NV.
