Darkthrone Premiere New Song “Caravan Of Broken Ghosts”

Veteran Norwegian black metal outfit Darkthrone have launched the first single from their approaching nineteenth studio album. The song “Caravan Of Broken Ghosts” serves as the lead track from the band’s new album “Astral Fortress“, and a lyric video for it filmed by the band’s own Fenriz (with assistance from Matthew Vickerstaff) is available below.

Fenriz himself offered of the track:

“There is a revisit vibe of ‘Quintessence’ at first, which is a total coincidence as it is Ted‘s song and I wrote ‘Q’. The song then explodes into fiercer metal, pounding and catching there as well, with clever riff shifts. And then the classic doom ending. Thank you, Ted.”
