The Undertaking! have released a new song titled “A Witch’s Deathbed Confession“. The group had The Used guitarist/vocalist Joey Bradford produce the song, which was mixed by Tanner Sparks. The lyrical inspiration for it came from a ‘Hellboy‘ short story called ‘The Chained Coffin‘.
The group previously said of the track:
“Pleading her case for mercy, this song is based on an english folklore wherein a witch requests her coffin be chained to the earth so the devil cannot come and take her soul to hell. Filled with chaotic and furious riffs, we created a song about the push and pull between doing what is right and wrong. Which side will you choose?”
